Is Midnight Valley Jewelry really waterproof?
Oh, absolutely. Shower in it. Sweat in it. Swim in it. Live in it. This is jewelry made for real life, not jewelry you have to take off every time life happens.
Can I shower in it?
Yep. That’s kind of the whole point. You bought jewelry to wear, not babysit.
Can I swim in it?
Absolutely. Pool, lake, hot tub — go live your life. Give it a quick rinse and dry it well afterward, then carry on.
Can I work out in it?
Absolutely. Sweat happens. Your jewelry can handle it.
Can I sleep in it?
Yep. If it’s comfortable, leave it on. That’s the beauty of it.
Do I need to take it off for lotion or perfume?
Nope. This is real-life jewelry, not museum jewelry.
What if I forget to take it off?
Good. We were hoping you would.
What is PVD jewelry?
PVD is an advanced coating process that bonds 18K gold to 316L stainless steel. It creates a much stronger, more durable finish than traditional plating.

What makes PVD different from regular gold plating?
Traditional plating sits on the surface and can wear down faster. PVD creates a much stronger bond to the stainless steel underneath, making it better suited to everyday wear.
What’s underneath the gold?
316L stainless steel. Strong, corrosion resistant and made to keep up with everyday wear.
Is it solid gold?
No. Our gold pieces are 18K gold PVD over 316L stainless steel. You get the rich gold look without the solid-gold price tag.
What about the silver pieces?
Our silver-tone waterproof pieces are polished 316L stainless steel.
Is Midnight Valley Jewelry good for sensitive skin?
Our waterproof collection is made with skin-friendly 316L stainless steel and is a great option for many people with sensitive skin. Individual sensitivities can vary.
Care
How do I clean my jewelry?
Nothing dramatic. Warm water, mild soap, soft cloth. Rinse it, dry it well, put it back on.
Do I need special jewelry cleaner?
Nope. Keep your money.
Can the jewelry still get scratched?
Yep. Durable does not mean indestructible. Jewelry rubbing against other metal, countertops, equipment or hard surfaces can still show normal wear.
How should I store it?
Clean, dry and preferably separated from other pieces so they’re not scratching each other up.
Do I need to baby it?
No. That would defeat the point.

Warranty
What is Lifetime Colour Confidence?
If the colour of your Midnight Valley Jewelry fades or tarnishes through normal wear, contact us. We’ll look after you.
Is workmanship covered too?
Yes. Manufacturing issues are covered for two years under our Workmanship Warranty.
What isn’t covered by the warranty?
Normal wear, scratches, accidental damage and lost jewelry are not warranty issues.
What do I do if something happens to my jewelry?
Contact us with your order information and, when helpful, a photo of the issue. A real person will review it and help you with the next step.
Sizing + Fit
How do I know what size to order?
Check the measurements on the product page. We list lengths, dimensions, extenders and fit details where applicable.
What if I still have no clue what size I need?
Ask us. Seriously. Send us a message or book a virtual appointment and we’ll help you figure it out.
Do your necklaces come with extenders?
Some do, some don’t. The exact length and extender information is listed on each product page.
Shipping + Orders
Where do you ship from?
Every order is packed by our team in Manitoba, Canada.
How fast will my order ship?
Orders normally leave us within 1–3 business days.
Do Canadian orders get free shipping?
Yes. Canadian orders over $120 CAD ship free.
Do you ship to the United States?
Yes. U.S. shipping rates are shown at checkout.
Will I get tracking?
Yes. Tracking is sent by email when your order ships.
Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
Contact us as quickly as possible. If your order has not shipped yet, we’ll do our best to correct it.
What if my package is delayed or lost?
Carrier delays can happen. If your parcel appears lost in transit, contact us and we’ll help sort it out.
Returns + Exchanges
Can I return my jewelry?
Yes. Eligible items returned within 30 days of delivery can be refunded to the original payment method.
What if it has been more than 30 days?
From 31–60 days after delivery, eligible items can be returned for an exchange or Midnight Valley store credit.
Who pays return shipping?
If you’ve changed your mind, return shipping is your responsibility. If we sent the wrong item, your order arrived damaged, or the mistake is ours, we’ll cover the shipping and make it right.
Do I need to contact you before returning something?
Yes. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can provide return instructions.
What condition does my return need to be in?
Returned jewelry must be unworn, undamaged and in its original packaging.
Do you charge a restocking fee?
No.
What if my order arrives damaged or you sent me the wrong item?
That’s on us. Contact us and we’ll fix it. You don’t pay to fix our mistake.
